Magnolia Grange House Museum was built in 1822, this elegant Federal-period plantation home is named for the circle of magnolia trees that once graced its front lawn. Formal ground floor rooms exhibit elaborate ceilings, mantels and doorways. Upstairs rooms are furnished according to the era of the families who lived in the home, 1822-1970. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the house museum interprets life on a 19th century Virginia plantation.
