Presented by Pamplin Historical Park & The National Museum of the Civil War Soldier

Bring the family to experience the holidays in 19th century style; your children will particularly enjoy meeting a “Thomas Nast” Santa Claus, with photo ops and cookies and hot chocolate. Also the children can participate in a craft making activity. There will also be cards available for everyone to sign that will be mailed to active duty soldiers serving abroad this holiday season. Tudor Hall will be decorated as it might have been in the mid 1800s and you will neet interpreters in costume for the full immersion experience. Civil War soldiers were away from home during the holidays and you will experience how some of them decorated their quarters for the holidays and celebrated Christmas through costumed interpreters. All activities are included with regular park admission.
