Award-winning author and historian, Ed Bearrs, will speak to the monthly meeting of the Civil War Roundtable at Pamplin Park. His topic is April 1, 1865, Battle of Five Forks, which occurred in Dinwiddie County. Mr. Bearss was Chief /Historian for the National Park Service from 1981- 1994 and now serves as Chief Historian Emeritus.
