Presented by Chesterfield Co. Parks & Recreation Department

This is very special as it is the only day each year when the public is invited to tour Eppington, built in 1768 by Francis Eppes, VI, brother-in-law to Thomas Jefferson. In addition to touring the house, there will be colonial history activities, period children’s games, storytelling, period vendors/crafters, carriage rides, a living history presentation with Theresa Gee portraying Sally Hemings, a coloniaL military encampment, concessions and more. It is a wonderful family event.
